Work, rest and recharge at the soon-to-be-launched new JustCo coworking space at Changi Airport.
Asia’s flexible workspace provider, JustCo, has unveiled a collaboration with Changi Airport Group (CAG) to introduce and oversee Asia’s inaugural pay-per-minute coworking facility located within an airport, specifically Changi Airport Terminal 3 (T3). This initiative comes as a response to the resurgence of travel and face-to-face meetings in the post-pandemic landscape. It caters to both business travelers and contemporary professionals in the bustling environment of one of the world’s busiest airports, Singapore.
The upcoming JustCo Changi Airport T3, which is slated for a Q4 2023 launch, will be the brand’s first to offer uninterrupted co-working access. It will feature one of JustCo’s most expansive hot-desking environments, boasting nearly 50 workstations. Tailored for the convenience of transient users, the center’s pay-per-minute model caters to those needing short-term workspace solutions. Beyond the hot-desk workstations, the center will also encompass private office suites, a work lounge, video-equipped meeting rooms, quiet corners and collaborative sections to cater to the diverse work preferences of contemporary professionals.
Enhancing the work experience, JustCo Changi Airport T3 will incorporate a partitioned nap zone for rest and relaxation and a pantry equipped with food vending machines for quick refreshments. These additions aim to boost the productivity and well-being of the always-mobile modern worker.
This strategic launch by JustCo aims to pioneer the integration of co-working solutions within a top-tier airport, positioning JustCo Changi Airport T3 as a sought-after hub for business travelers. This innovative workspace will seamlessly blend with Changi Airport’s existing amenities, offering travelers a holistic “live, work, play” environment and fostering connections among professionals.
Kong Wan Long, JustCo’s Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer, expressed enthusiasm about the venture with CAG. He highlighted the center’s 24/7 accessibility and its array of amenities, emphasizing its potential to redefine the work experience for business travelers and digital nomads alike.
Echoing this sentiment, Lim Peck Hoon, CAG’s Executive Vice President for Commercial, noted the global uptick in in-person meetings and events. She emphasized CAG’s commitment to enhancing the airport experience by introducing top-notch workspace options in collaboration with JustCo.
As global business travel resurges, this initiative not only augments Changi Airport’s offerings but also showcases Singapore’s pivotal role in nurturing a dynamic coworking landscape.
