Forbes Announces Lineup Of Featured Participants For Under 30 Summit Asia In Hong Kong

July 16-18, 2018 | #Under30Summit Hong Kong, 24 May 2018 | Forbes announced today the lineup of featured participants for its Under 30 Summit Asia on July 16-18, 2018 in Hong Kong at the InterContinental Hong Kong. The summit will bring together some 300 young leaders, entrepreneurs and gamechangers from across Asia, as culled from the Forbes’ “30 Under 30 Asia” lists, as well as CEOs, mentors, industry leaders, investors and disruptors for three days of motivating panels, tech demos, networking, food, music and more.

Themed “Driving Change”, this year’s Forbes Under 30 Summit Asia program on July 17 will see an all-star lineup of speakers participating in a day of compelling content across four main themes – Disruptive Technology; Sustainability; Metrics of Success and Social Responsibility.

A key highlight of the summit features Carrie Lam, Chief Executive, Hong Kong SAR, engaging in a one-on-one dialogue with Randall Lane, Chief Content Officer, Forbes Media to discuss Hong Kong’s role as a hub for entrepreneurship and innovation.

Edward Yau Tang-wah, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, will deliver welcome remarks at the summit. Among the confirmed speakersfor the summit is Tan Min-Liang, Cofounder and CEO of Razer, who will engage in a keynote interview with Rana Wehbe, Senior Editor – Special Projects, Forbes Media, about his entrepreneurial journey.

Notable Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list honorees also speaking at the summit include Stanislava Pinchuk (Miso), Artist from Australia; Togo Ogi, Cofounder, FunLife Inc from Japan; Aakriti Kumar, Founder of Differniture Spaces from India; Maxine Ryan, COO, Bitspark Limited from Hong Kong; Hu Zhenyu, Founder & Executive Director of Linkspace from China; Azerbaijan’s first honoree and Founder of Rainergy Reyhan Jamalova; Scott Stiles, Cofounder of Fair Employment Agency from Hong Kong; Vinesh Sinha, Founder of FatHopes Energy from Malaysia among others. The Discovery Area will also highlight some of the most exciting inventions and products from their creators who made it to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list— including AR goggles and robots.

The summit’s Food and Music Festival will showcase Asia’s most brilliant young chefs in cooking demonstrations and performances from rising Asian entertainers. One of Myanmar’s most recognised performers, singer Ah Moon Marip (Ah Moon) will be making a special appearance. Serving up their culinary creations at the festival are 30 Under 30 Asia list honorees Chef Pichaya (Pam) Utharntharm, Chef at The Table from Thailand, Chef Talita Setyadi, Founder of BEAU from Indonesia, and Filipino Chef Miko Aspiras, Chef at Tasteless Food Group.
