Workato Introduces AI@Work to Enhance Business Efficiency with AI Automation

Workato’s AI@Work brings AI capabilities to automation, enabling enterprises to scale and thrive.

Enterprise automation platform Workato has introduced AI@Work, a suite of product updates that enable enterprises to adopt AI for automation and enhance business efficiency. These updates, integrated into the Workato platform and leveraging OpenAI technologies, offer a seamless way to incorporate AI at scale.

Gautham Viswanathan, Workato’s Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer, emphasizes the significant potential of AI in driving productivity, efficiency and innovation for businesses. AI@Work simplifies the adoption of AI by offering a unified platform that combines AI, automation and integration capabilities. It includes features like generative AI integration, a copilot experience for creating recipes and connectors and a conversational interface for automating work processes.

AI@Work features

Workato copilots

Workato copilots assist in building Workato recipes and connectors using natural language. Trained on extensive data from Workato’s public recipe community, they possess a deep understanding of business entity relationships, logic, data mappings and transformations. The copilots strictly adhere to data privacy standards and do not use customer data from these interactions for any model training purposes.

AI integration

Workato’s OpenAI Connector and additional AI Connectors allow users to incorporate AI capabilities into their automation, facilitating the development of smarter business processes. Since May 2023, customers have utilized the OpenAI connector for various tasks such as generating sales email content, intelligent response generation based on feedback, creating personalized reactivation and nurture campaigns, automating help desk operations, and more.

WorkbotGPT (coming soon)

WorkbotGPT enables users to interact with applications and data using natural language, streamlining their work automation. It allows for the creation of complex multi-step automation by chaining interactions. For instance, they can instruct WorkbotGPT to retrieve deals exceeding 100K and request updates from account executives. WorkbotGPT will then fetch the data from Salesforce and send email requests, eliminating the need for manual coding or recipe building.

GEARSAI

Workato’s GEARS (Govern, Enable, Adopt, Run, Scale) provides an operational framework for organizations to facilitate automation adoption. This framework has been further developed to incorporate the adoption of AI alongside automation, providing a comprehensive roadmap for AI implementation.

Workato, recognized as a Leader in the 2023 Gartner Magic Quadrant for iPaaS, offers enterprises a comprehensive automation solution to integrate applications, data and experiences across their organization. With a focus on security, scalability and performance, Workato’s low-code, no-code platform empowers IT and business teams to streamline processes and leverage a vast library of automation recipes. Through strategic partnerships, global events and industry reports, Workato continues to drive digital transformation and has garnered accolades from prestigious publications and rankings such as Amazon Web Services, The Wall Street Journal, Deloitte and Forbes.
