Two SEO Tactics That Can Make Your Website Visible And Help Your Business Grow

“Digital And Social Media Marketing” is a catalogue of things you can do to improve the visibility of your website. Some of these things are downright simple and anyone who has designed and launched their own website can do it. No professional training required. Here than are two SEO tactics that can help make your website visible and your business grow.

SEO tactic one:

Let us for the sake of an example, assume your website retails the PRADA brand ladies hand bags. Naturally, your site will contain a whole bunch of internal links. Let us further imagine that there are two websites selling the same product. The first one has links that look like the first example below while the second one has links that look like the second example below:

1. Ladies hand bags
2. PRADA ladies hand bags, colour: brown

When Google indexes the second website, it will gather certain key words for their index. PRADA, hand bag, ladies, brown, detachable and strap are the most likely key words to be picked up.

When the Google Bot travels along the link and arrives at the page selling PRADA ladies hand bags, colour: brown, it will pick up even more key words.

Now, let us further assume that an active search is being done by some prospective customer searching for a top branded, brown coloured lady hand bags to go with her new brown dress for an upcoming party.

How do you think Google will place the above two websites that is, assuming that the first website above, has the words ladies hand bags somewhere in the product description?

Obviously, the second website will be placed first and the first website will be placed second. This is because the algorithms used by the Google Bot will assume that the second website is more like to contain what the prospective customer is looking for.

This means the second website will quite likely receive more customers and therefore make more Business.

SEO tactic two:

Page / Product headers:

Continuing with the example of ladies hand bags above, let us suppose that the Google bot has arrived at the page that describes the product.

The first website in our example above, has the heading “Hand Bags” while the second site has the heading: “PRADA, ladies hand bag in pure leather with detachable and adjustable shoulder strap. Colour: Brown”

Below the heading, let us assume that both websites have the same picture and same product description (obviously supplied by the manufacturer). Despite this, to which website do you think Google will give higher weightage?

If you have hundreds of products, your website would obviously have more than a thousand links. Updating all these links will take many days. The best method is to hire a Best Virtual Assistant – you can hire them from online sites such as https://www.staffcloud.biz/ and they will update all your links quickly and efficiently.
