[Press Release] Inncelerator’s COVID-19 Relief Helping Start Ups and SMEs to create a digital presence

Singaporean online web development and digital marketing platform, Inncelerator offers COVID-19 relief, through their modular approach, to aid Startups and SMEs to get digital.

Even before the pandemic, companies have struggled through their digitalisation journey as they felt the inertia to change. Now that the traditional way of doing business dries up, it is make or break to get selling their products/services online. Inncelerator aims to be the partner of choice for those taking their first steps into entrepreneurship.

COVID-19 has been instrumental in pushing for the digitalisation efforts for businesses in Singapore. The 2020 SME Digital Transformation Study produced jointly by Microsoft Singapore and the Association of Small & Medium Enterprises (ASME) revealed that 83% of companies have digitalisation strategies in place, but 54% reported delays due to COVID-19. Despite the higher adoption rate, only 2 in 5 SMEs felt their efforts to be successful.

Inncelerator was founded on September 2020 by Muhammad F. in response to the growing need for SMEs to digitalise their marketing efforts effectively. Inncelerator has to date,  strategically identified specific components through 23 different modules covering aspects such as ORM (online reputation management), website development, as well as management across different SNS (social networking services) that businesses would need.

Muhammad F. says, “2020 has seen a lot of people lose their jobs and businesses fail. We wanted to help those people willing to take charge and overcome the barriers of entry by offering a modular platform where you can select the areas you want to focus on and grow at your own pace. Whether you want to build a website, need someone to start and manage your social media presence or help you bring in organic traffic to your existing business through SEO, you can select the approach that’s right for you.”

Amongst the many that Inncelerator has helped, Squisito – a local Italian restaurant on Arab Street, reaped the benefits of fully outsourcing their marketing and digitalisation efforts.

“We launched our restaurant just a few months before the lockdown in Singapore, with no dine-in option, we were struggling with very few deliveries as people didn’t know we existed.” Said Mr. Ali, managing director at Squisito restaurant. “Since we signed up with Inncelerator, they have been managing our social media posts, and we saw our organic engagement increase by 70%! Our project manager has been guiding us through our social media ads management, email marketing, and website development. Through their efforts, we have seen a 40% increase in business and continue to reach new milestones!”

There is no linear path for entrepreneurs, and due to the dynamic nature of businesses, the state and stages that companies find themselves can vary widely. Muhammad F. believes that Inncelerator’s cost effectiveness in their offerings, and focused approach solves those challenges, and has plans to add more services and build a community that helps guide businesses.

“We were initially planning on making the modular platform only available to negatively affected SMEs and cash strapped start-ups but seeing the demand we have made this available to all businesses. Our clients who have tried our modular approach have been keen on applying it across other services, and we are currently working closely with them to exploring similar offerings.”
