Ohmyhome Launches Smart Matching Feature OhmyMatchTM Making Active Searching Even Easier

Singapore’s first one-stop property solution, Ohmyhome, introduces their latest smart matching feature, OhmyMatch™. The algorithm automatically matches potential buyers and sellers based on compatible characteristics in the property they are looking for and offering respectively, at no cost. Searching, buying, or leasing properties becomes even easier as OhmyMatch™ works in the background looking for new matches even when users are not active on the platform. When a match is found, users can choose to be notified through email or push notifications on their phone with more options to come.

OhmyMatch™ arrives in the wake of other Ohmyhome Proptech innovations, such as the ShoutOut™ feature. First introduced in 2018, ShoutOut™ turns the typical property searching process on its head by letting users looking for property to post their ideal property requirements publicly in a scrolled feed. Users with property for sale or lease can then search through these ShoutOuts™ to find people who are interested in their property. Challenging industry conventions, ShoutOutTM puts sellers and landlords in a more active role rather than waiting passively for interested parties to contact them.

Now, with the introduction of OhmyMatch™, searching, buying, or leasing property has become even faster and more convenient. Working in conjunction with ShoutOut™, the proprietary algorithm OhmyMatch™ automatically sifts through thousands of unique listings on the platform to find ones that are relevant to the buyer or tenants’ requirements. For sellers and landlords, OhmyMatch™ finds potential buyers and tenants by automatically searching through relevant ShoutOuts™ that their listing matches. The algorithm also queries each newly created listing and ShoutOut™. Users will be alerted through in-app notifications or email in real time as matches are found.

Race Wong, Chief Product Officer and co-Founder of Ohmyhome shared: “With OhmyMatch™, our algorithm makes finding compatible buyers and sellers and connecting them with each other easier, faster, and more convenient at no charge to users. We believe this automated process which allows users to ‘post-and-forget’ while still getting up-to-date notifications will become the new standard for buying and selling property.”
