Kanmo Group partners with Capillary Technologies to increase store conversion with AI-powered solutions

Singapore – January 9 2020 – Capillary Technologies, leader in omnichannel engagement
solutions, has become an AI partner for the Kanmo Retail Group, which manages more than
180 stores for 13 brands throughout Indonesia, including Mothercare, COACH, and Justice.
Kanmo group was already using Capillary solutions for engaging their customers across online
and offline with personalised communication since last year.

Offline retail in Indonesian market still continues to contribute about 95% to the total retail.
Indonesians still like to visit physical stores for the look and feel of the product. Keeping
customers at the centre of attention, Kanmo Group wanted to build an offline clickstream of data
(similar to what eCommerce has) to support the Group’s mission to provide exceptional retail
experience to customers.

Capillary’s VisitorMetrix not only enables brands to analyse historical store traffic patterns to
determine staffing requirements but can also give immediate responsive data to changes,
including studying the impact of promotional campaigns. Brands can use this information to
strategise their operations and marketing campaigns to look deeper at their performance and
pull the right levers for improved productivity.

“While our eCommerce business is growing, we did not want to lose focus on offline stores.
Combining the in-store consumer behaviour with the transactional data will give us a complete
360-degree view of our customers and help us personalise our offerings and services,” said
Hitesh Bharwani, Founder and Group Managing Director at the Kanmo Group.

“Capillary was already helping us to engage our customers through offline and online channels
and with VisitorMetrix which is tightly integrated with the existing systems helps us to make
better decisions based on enriched data” Bharwani added.

Aneesh Reddy, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Capillary Technologies commented
on the Capillary partnership with the Kanmo Group, “We are pleased to be helping the Kanmo
Group with our solutions and to be involved in their digital journey. We will soon be launching
VisitorSense to help retailers capture more data. The product will be able to provide with
demographics and fashion profiles of the visitors to help you understand. We hope to establish
a useful long-term partnership”.
