Fashion Farm Foundation Led Hong Kong Fashion Talents to Paris Fashion Week

(Hong Kong, 27 February 2020) Fashion Farm Foundation (FFF) transformed the third day of the Paris Fashion Week into a day specially for Hong Kong fashion design. FFF and eight fashion labels opened the curtain of the HKFG PARIS AW20 Presentation and Reception which is under the sponsor of Create Hong Kong. FFF is presenting these local brands’ latest Autumn and Winter collections in Paris Fashion Week, namely ANAÏS JOURDEN, CYNTHIA & XIAO, FROM ANOTHER PLANETS, FromClothingOf, KA WA KEY, W;nk, YAH! and YEUNG CHIN.

FROM ANOTHER PLANETS Created a Mysterious Laboratory

Taking place at Libération, the former studio of the French newspaper, FROM ANOTHER PLANETS and KA WA KEY had their solo fashion presentations on 26th February to demonstrate their latest collections. Meanwhile, HKFG Paris AW20 Reception prepared by FFF allowed Hong Kong fashion designers showing their collection in-person to the invited guests including fashion media, insiders, buyers, fashionistas and influencers around the globe. Besides, ANAÏS JOURDEN will have Runway Fashion Show on 1st March at Maison des Océans (formerly known as Oceanographic Institute of Paris), which has been selected in Paris Fashion Week Official Calendar for five consecutive seasons.

FROM ANOTHER PLANETS presented the AW20 collection THE UNIVERSE IS A FORMLESS HEARTLESS VOID with the visions of far-out technologies. The scene of presentation set on a newly discovered planet that has new species of plant can generate power. Under the presentation venue, the brand created 3 separated structures that constructed a research base. Every scene is created with props, emerging a surreal scene combining outer space and technology elements with laboratory glassware, batteries and plants as the decoration of the presentation stage. Models acted as the research teammates with FROM ANOTHER PLANETS’ AW20 collection, doing the experiments and researches in the lab. The audience took part in the staff role likewise. Furthermore, the brand set up an AR filter to interact with guests during the show so that everyone is devoted to this incredible show.

KA WA KEY Brought A Fascinating Experience Again

With the success of the show at Paris Fashion Week SS19 and SS20, KA WA KEY brought us a presentation with catwalk element in AW20. The collection and presentation THE TWINK PRINCE is inspired by the famous French story THE LITTLE PRINCE. The brand created a magical and fantasy atmosphere that made the audience feel like entering the world of the little prince. At the presentation venue, white balloons and white gravels filled all around that the all-white setting served as the background for the colourful garments. Moreover, models performed as different characters in THE LITTLE PRINCE, walking around different planets. The presentation gave a close glimpse of the exquisite scene in a fairy tale, making people’s eyes brightened one more time.

Hong Kong Fashion Talents Made a Splash on Paris Fashion Week

Sponsored by Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels, FFF also hosted the HKFG Paris AW20 Reception on 26th February. It proved to be a resounding success, providing a platform for the eight local talents to the international stage. Many well-known fashion insiders joined the event and showed support to Hong Kong fashion design, including fashion blogger and influencer Susie Bubble, Yoyo Cao and Declan Chan.
