EY announces the appointment of Alex Yung as EY Asia-Pacific Business Transformation and Innovation Leader
HONG KONG, May 26, 2020 – EY announces the appointment of Alex Yung as Asia-Pacific Business Transformation and Innovation Leader. In his new role, Alex will drive digital transformation and growth in Asia-Pacific and bring a wealth of digital, technology and general management experience to our Advisory business.

Prior to joining EY, Alex was Managing Director of Amazon Web Services (AWS) for Greater China. He became the company’s first employee in Beijing, tasked with setting up AWS’ China business. During his 8-year tenure, he successfully grew AWS to its current position as one of the leading cloud providers in the Greater China region.
Alex has over 25 years of experience in launching high growth business, encompassing public cloud business, business process outsourcing and consulting, as well as products and services development in Greater China and South East Asia. Prior to his time at AWS, his experience included 16 years in the Telco industry (Cable & Wireless, PCCW) and seven years in senior leadership roles in Dell in Asia Pacific encompassing Greater China, Korea and Japan.
