Anthropologie and Pinterest Unveiled 2024 Bridal Trends at NYC Pop-Up Event

The event brought Pinterest’s bridal forecasts to life with Anthropologie.

Anthropologie Weddings, a bridal collection from the global lifestyle brand Anthropologie, in collaboration with AnthroLiving and Terrain, debuted the Anthropologie Weddings x Pinterest Trend Pop-Up. This event, developed in partnership with Pinterest, was designed to bring emerging bridal trends, as identified by Pinterest Predicts, into tangible experiences. Offering inspiration and early access to trends, the pop-up showcased bridal designs, décor and lifestyle options that could be personalized for unique wedding visions.

Held from February 1 to February 4, 2024, at 412 W 13th St. in New York, NY, the pop-up event focused on three main trends forecasted to influence the wedding industry: Groovy Nuptials, Bow Stacking and Western Gothic. Through interactive sessions and consultations with experts, the pop-up aimed to immerse attendees in diverse wedding styles, from retro-inspired to modern Americana themes.

The initiative offered a platform for personal interaction with the Anthropologie team, who provided tailored advice on various aspects of wedding planning, ranging from fashion to florals and décor. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the trends and products on display and could bookmark ideas for future reference via Pinterest QR codes.

Elizabeth Preis, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Anthropologie Group, emphasized the pop-up’s role in simplifying significant wedding decisions through creative and innovative presentations of trends. “As a brand that sits at the forefront of the wedding industry, we joined hands with Pinterest to execute a consumer-first activation that translates insights and trends in an illustrative manner, making once-in-a-lifetime decisions easier for every bride,” she stated.

Holly Thrasher, Chief Merchandising Officer at Anthropologie, Apparel and Weddings, highlighted the curated wedding product lineup informed by these new trends, aiming to serve as a comprehensive wedding planning resource. “We’re eager for our customers to get a first-hand look at our product line-up and shop the trends before anyone else. From proposals to bachelorettes, rehearsals, weddings and honeymoons, we pride ourselves in serving as a one-stop wedding shop, catering to many styles, preferences and budgets,” she remarked.

“Weddings have always been a reason people come to Pinterest—they can find inspiration from more than 2 billion wedding ideas on our platform and start to plan all the elements for their big day,” said Sara Pollack, Global Head of Consumer Marketing at Pinterest. She expressed excitement over the collaboration to bring Pinterest’s top trends to the wedding scene.
