[ Press Release ] Launching New Learning Marketplace Website, OhMyClass, for Last-Minute & Group Buying

For immediate release | Mar 9, 2021

Now you can learn more by paying less in this new learning community with efficiency.

Hong Kong, Mar. 9, 2021 — To be launched in late April 2021, Mochy is proud to announce a new platform OhMyClass after a year of development. OhMyClass is Hong Kong’s first online marketplace dedicated to last-minute learning experiences, connecting Teachers to Students. Anyone can create, find, enrol in and review classes that help foster a more efficient learning community. OhMyClass covers a range of courses, from virtual class to offline lesson, from last-minute course starting tomorrow to class starting next month, from fun-based to professional-focused, from hour-long to year-long programs.

·        Teachers: Any course providers interested in effectively advertising their local classes online can sign up to be our Teacher, and explore different features (e.g. minimum enrolment quantity) and customization (e.g. URL, SEO) that can help improve market exposure and course registration rates. For Teachers looking to improve their course experience can also join our Customer Experience Assessment program (similar to the concept of secret customer), where Students are invited to your free trial lesson, in return for their honest insight report.

·        Students: Learners can search and enrol in courses, use filters to easily narrow down the classes available by selecting key attributes (e.g. nearby location, target audience, star ratings, duration, price) the preferred course needs to have. For any questions in mind, students can also raise questions publicly on each listing.

“COVID got us thinking, learning may be the most profitable investment in oneself, so where we HongKongers can find this centralized platform focused on learning experience? That’s how we started OhMyClass which taps into the enormous library of classes with shared opinion in a cost-efficient way”, noted Natalie Lau, Managing Director of Mochy. “As a huge endorser of bulk purchase, enabling learners to coordinate their small group bookings in return for discounted price is a win-win game for everyone involved”, she added.

Businesses interested in listing their classes on OhMyClass can either submit a request via https://bit.ly/omcsignup or email our Teacher Success Team us at [email protected]
