【20 October, 2016 Hong Kong】— Garage Society (, a leading contemporary co-work operator headquartered in Hong Kong, is currently constructing Garage Collective, its newest location in Sai Ying Pun, that will launch in November. The new co-working space will become a game-changing lifestyle hub with the first-of-its-kind amenities in Hong Kong. The move comes after the operator experienced great success with its workspaces in Central and Sheung Wan, as well as in a recent new operation in Phuket, Thailand. DVR and QRC – Garage Society’s two existing co-workspace locations in Central and Sheung Wan respectively – home prominent local & international startups, lifestyle companies, and professional service providers among other businesses. The two workspaces were designed uniquely from one another to accommodate the needs of both the corporate and creative industries.

In addition to its enviable outdoor terraces and lounge areas as well as its hot-desks and private offices, DVR and QRC’s member-oriented business model offers companies full-scope secretarial, accounting, recruitment, and digital marketing services. “The Garage Society staffs have been very helpful in supporting our administrative needs,” says Amy Wei, the director of KAYAK. “It was very easy to set up our IT network within Garage Society and its infrastructure got us off the ground running really quickly.”

With the aim of facilitating collaboration and growth within their community and beyond, the leading operator hosts weekly events through its knowledge-sharing platform Garage Academy, which allows employees of member companies to expand their skillset and network. In fact, Garage Society has greatly contributed to the success of over 200 businesses including Deliveroo, Fresco Capital, and Cornerstone HK, while also inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurial minds via its Cadet Program that trains and places interns in member companies.

Through its extensive network and knowledge of the local business scene, Garage Society hopes to help member companies achieve more with Garage Collective. “Garage Collective is an attempt to reinvent co-working space, or at least to broaden the definition of one,” says Elaine Tsung, the Founder of Garage Society. “We’re here to open doors not only for tech startups, but also for creative freelancers, brick & mortar businesses, and lifestyle pursuers.”
