Foodpanda expands regional partnership with OpenRice and reports 500% growth in orders placed in 2015

Foodpanda, Hong Kong’s leading food delivery platform, today announced its partnership with OpenRice Hong Kong, the city’s most comprehensive platform for sharing dining experiences through reviews and ratings. This cross-platform collaboration will benefit Hong Kong users as they will be given the opportunity to order directly from foodpanda’s partnered restaurants via OpenRice’s iOS, Android App or mobile-friendly website.

Foodpanda records fivefold increase in orders and over 250k downloads in mobile app
Foodpanda also announced that its business has grown with the total number of orders increasing over 500% the last year. The company continues to make customer satisfaction its first priority, by shortening delivery times and ensuring that food arrives in the best condition.

The majority of users come from the 20-40 year old age group, split male / female professionals and families in Hong Kong. foodpanda is also planning a new app release focused on enhancing user experience and usability.
