Organised by the Women in Society Association (WISA) of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, you are cordially invited to join a seminar with the theme of “Women in Entrepreneurship” which will be held on 25 February 2021 (Thursday).
With the topics of “Is COVID-19 creating a crisis or opportunity for entrepreneurs?” by Ms Elaine SHIU, Chair of Women in Entrepreneurship of WISA and “Riding with uncertainties to create opportunities” by Ms Amy Ip, Co-founder of CaaS, this seminar aims to provide insights and serves as a platform to discuss on how entrepreneurs respond to the threats and opportunities during COVID-19.

About the speakers
Ms Elaine SHIU 邵燕寧
Elaine is a serial entrepreneur in fashion jewellery, the travel industry, as well as innovation technology. She has received numerous local and international awards for her innovative approach and achievements, such as the Hong Kong Outstanding Young Entrepreneur, the Hong Kong Cultural and Creative Industry Award and Asia Pacific Entrepreneur Award. She is also an influencer on multi social media and seeks to encourage youth development as well as women empowerment through public speaking and events.
Ms Amy IP葉慧兒
Amy is an expert in design thinking, co-founder of CaaS (an Innovation Design and Strategy consulting firm). Leveraging her past experiences in driving product and service innovation, she coaches corporations and institutions on innovation strategy; she advocates on the importance of employee’s emotional readiness for the success in business transformation. Amy leads venture projects at CaaS to provide turn around solution for startups in times of challenges. Previously Amy was Group Director of Fjord Greater China (Part of Accenture Interactive) and she ran digital transformation programs to help clients develop experience strategies. Prior to this, Amy was Senior Director and Design Expert at Tencent (China) and was also a design alumni of Microsoft (US) and Yahoo!(Hong Kong).
