About the Program
Granted by EDB and co-organized by Cyberport, one of the fastest growing start-up hubs in Hong Kong and Jumpstart, the experienced global start-ups ecosystem builder, this 4-month entrepreneurial STEM programme is dedicated to introduce gifted students to the potential and opportunities of STEM startups in HK. We are currently recruiting students in Secondary 4-5 school year, with good academic results and interest in STEM and innovation.

Learning Methodology & Outcomes
The course will be delivered through both physical and zoom lectures, students will have access to various learning activities including case studies, group discussion, presentation, site visit, and volunteering. The program will provide participants with continuous coaching and mentoring service throughout the whole process to ensure a smooth and meaningful learning experience.
Upon accomplishing this program, students are expected to:
· Understand the concept of STEM start-ups and entrepreneurial spirit;
· Acquire practical business knowledge and skill sets including business plan & forecasting, company pitching, revenue models, investment & fundraising, marketing & branding and crisis management, etc.
· Develop strong interpersonal skills such as presentation, communication, team-work and leadership
· Gain hands-on experience in terms of establishing their own start-ups from the scratch
· Get volunteering opportunities through meeting up with start-ups in Cyberport
James Kwan is the Executive Chairman at Jumpstart Media Limited, he is a passionate serial entrepreneur who strives to help founders connect with investors and global ecosystem builders via his platform. Experienced in startup/ innovation industry and various accelerator programs, he is open-minded and self-motivated. James is enthusiastic about education and kids, as a native English speaker, he has more than 5-year experience in teaching youth innovation program. As a strong communicator, James is capable of providing timely feedback and proper mentoring to both parents and students.
